overfallss drifting for bass slack drift for turbot or fish any inshore bank hole that you can find weed free

you just got to pick the right one we all fish for the big turbos only a few of us fluke one im still waiting my biggest is 4 pound lol im sure mine and your day will come

Good luck, can’t waste light winds and a lovely day but could be tricky...
Think I will just try over slack water drifting. I guess too big for mid channel wrecks too. Frustrating, still long term forecast for the weekend after doesn’t look too bad. J |

Went out. Sat. To. Just. Get. Mackerel. Ended. Up. With 3 lol also had Thor back. Ray. Dogs. And. Bream very. Slow my. Mate. Reckons. It. To. Do. With. High pressure. And. The. Swim. Bladder I don't. Know. Lol

I was out Saturday. Ray must have thought I was shadowing him! Mackerel in patches, two strings then nothing. Drifted for one dogfish then anchored up close inshore for a bass and a thornback. These (pic below) kept passing, no takers on the feathers or herring gear. My guess is herring but too early in the day for them to feed. What do you think?

From what I saw a couple of weekends ago that might even have been Jellyfish (although no swim bladders to reflect off) - there were hundreds drifting through off on the Horse tail!
Btw we had mainly dogs, 3 small bream, a decent undulate and a smoothound pup.

frustrating day ikept seeing shoals on my sounder but no takers don't understand it still cracking day out so hot
