Out today taking a charter - Tuesday. Fresh start so had to be close & then moved out later. Had variety of rays, conger and 8 smoothound between 7 & 12 lb. One very big smoothound lost at surface due to angler not listening to having clutch set for the plunge) With all the sea around me not sure why Dawn Venture needed to anchor almost on top of me when he arrived.

Had a couple of bream Easter Monday together with garfish and pollock.  Surprised to see so few boats out.

Whenever I go to Ryde sands I seem to be plagued by a trawler that goes up and down the sands continuously. If there are any bottom feeders there he will have them.
Possibilities. Bayliner 2452 as per the avatar. Listening CH10 on the hour. Solent UK.
