Had a lovely day sea flat with suneshine. Caught pout whiting and the usual ton of doggies. Entertained by the Royal Navy and a sea plane.

Forgot to mention, we were trying for cod with whole squid baits on big hooks. Fished west Solent in 15 metres of water. Looking forward to the next weather window

Was also out early yesterday morning just off gilkicker, large pout, dogs and small conger was all to be had. Very calm day, sunshine and no work! First trip out in just over a month. Was great just to be out and some fish were a bonus! Looking forward to another break in the weather, colder water and low pressure. maybe the cod will come in.

Just off gilkicker again today, last minute decision. Conger, conger and more conger plus some doggies. Ran out of bait at 14:00hrs, non stop action when the tide turned, happy days as for the first hour it looked like it could be a blank session.
