Hi guys, just watching a couple of Nasa Navtext systems on Ebay. Just wonderring what the general feelings are on these, If you have one, would you not be without it or do you think they are a waste of time?
Cheers For Now, Woody ;-)

I am familiar with Navtex - however for the most part they have had their day.

They stem from a pre-Internet era, now all you need is a 3G phone or tablet and thats it. Obviously if you are seriously offshore then the Navtex will pick up broadcasts long after your mobile signal has faded.
