I have a Penn 320 gti tha I stupidly bought second hand I have used it a couple of times in shallow water off e kayak and it's been ok but I loaded some braid onto it the other day and went to use it on a chatrter boat yesterday and it wasn't winding in like it wasn't grabbing it would wind about a foot at the start then stop and just be going round and round I have no experience of multipliers really other than an Abu 7000 I have which has been fine , are here any simple fixes you can think of to get it going again ???

im no expert but if you take it to nick in allans marine in portsmouth he will have alook at it, and im sure he could fix it for you. great service and value.

Good advice. Unless you know what you are doing take it to the experts, Nick can strip a reel service it and put it back together again in the time it takes to boil the kettle.LOL

I'll have a look well done on ur cod the other day by the way we were out on Valkyrie yesterday with no joy on the cod I did eat some doggy though that we caught was quite nice fried with some special sauce I made up!!!

Much cheaper than a new reel cheers I'm gonna get another Abu 7000 anyway it's such a nice thing to use looking to go out on the yak next week and see if I can finally catch a fish

cheers m8, im still buzzing. alot of peeps eat doggys and like it, i just cant be arsed with the preparing lol

cant wait to get out on the cod again when the weather allows.

whey up tom is the reel winding but the braid is slipping on the spool ? cheers billy
if you have to measure it, its too small!!
