Apparently there is a shore-based protest at 2pm in Portsmouth and a boat protest from 2pm-4pm. I found details on FB.

Think itís a case of the British will moan and carry on regardless. The French would have blocked ports, and blocked roads and it would have been known and supported by everyone. We did pop out to offer our support.Truth be told... I was disappointed at the turnout.

Hope everyone caught loads today as there were plenty showing on AIS as being out. Unhappy

In defence of the commercial boys - I know some potters who wanted to go but have had such bad weather they had to go out to earn a crust whilst they could.Have had to pay Chi Harbour Dues etc by eo March which have been increased 10% + with little earnings so far this year. As one said what he had to pay was more than he had earned in the 1st quarter of the year due to not getting out. Most were aiming to join on their way in from South of IoW.
