I ended up on Utopia after getting a few mackerel on the way out caught 3 Thornbacks 2 over 10lb 1 about 6lb, 2 nice smoothounds and 3 congers biggest about 25lb.

Sounds good with the Gurnard Ray they are very nice to eat.

Gurnard are one of my favourites - nice firm white flesh. I was shown how to prep them by a trawler skipper many years ago - worth knowing how because they have an odd arrangement of bony bits.
