well today after a long boring 2 weeks of haggling iv finally had my offer on a my new boat accepted.
so subject to a sea trail i could be bring her back from portland harbour on saturday.
the new toy is a ocqeteau 645,

but with this toy been of a little bit more value than any other boat iv ever owned i thought it might be time i got insurance, so can anybody help on which companies they are using that are good and cheap.
maybe they have a promotion code that would get some money off for both of us.

cheers john

i went with haven knox johnston in the end, sent for a quote with saga but took them 6 months to reply, thought it might be cheaper for old dodders but it was quite a bit dearer when it finally arrived will have a look at the porthcawl next renewal time,

Nice looking boat John, well done.

That engine, (Merc) you had for sale, can it be connected to remotes? If its tiller only then its no good mate, my friend has a displacement boat with a forward wheelhouse so you see what he is after.

Cheers John catch you laster and once again well done on your new boat.
Cheers For Now, Woody ;-)

Shop around, and get the deal you can for the boat the cheapest is not always the best, its a good boat you have not a dingy.
