That doesn't look like a shallow V river hull but I can't really see from the photo. Can you take a pic of the back of the hull so we can measure the hull angle? If its about 22degrees it is a deep vee hull and with the right engine will be fine for inshore work as it will have been built stong enough to take the stress of the waves. If the bottom is only 5 degrees or so, it is a river boat and only designed for low powered engines, slow speeds and flat water, and personally I wouldn't take a river boat out of the harbour. It does look sturdy though, hope it works out for you.

well all cusions re upholstered,2 days making up led strip lights,
engines fitted(still looking for bigger engine but this one will get me on the pond for the mo)
all inside cabin scrubbed down and repainted,two burner hob come heater fitted,nav lights etc etc etc
so im ready to launch her this coming sunday
