Headed for worbarrow got down there and set up after throwing the rods out and every one of them stuck hard i went around to talk to a guy fishing to the right of us and he went on to say a couple of weeks ago there was a storm,nd all the sea bed is now on the beach, it has now made fishing almost 2/3 of the beach unfishable with normal tatics and where there were sandbars there is now just pure rock.
So we picked up are gear and off we walked to the other end of the beach to fish the few remaining sand bars he advised us on, fished here for the rest of the night but we were now exposed and wishing we took the beachbuddy...... the icey wind belted us,after a few hours of little bites and 1 pout my rod lept over then the fish picked up my 5oz weight and headed stright towards me (dont need to tell you what i thought) then bam i pulled in a big poor cod, this fish was are last one of the night,if you intend to fish worbarrow my only opinion is take your float gear if you want to fish the eastern end of the beach.
freezing buit was an ok trip.
